Emirates provides extended insurance coverage for costs associated with various risks due to COVID-19, such as compensation in the event of a positive PCR test before departure or flight cancellation.
This insurance is automatically applied to all tickets purchased from December 1, 2020.
Emirates has also re-launched Dubai Connect, a service that allows passengers on flights connecting in Dubai to stay at a hotel for free. The service is available to all passengers whose waiting time for a connecting flight is from 10 to 24 hours. Transfer and visa services are provided free of charge.
