"The opening of The Isolano, Cres, Autograph Collection expands the horizons of this distinctive brand in Croatia for the first time, exposing our guests to new and authentic experiences, cultures and landscapes," said Sandra Schulze-Potgieter, vice president, Premium, Select & Midscale Brand Management, Europe, Middle East & Africa, Marriott International. "Each Autograph Collection hotel has its own unique character and offers guests rich, immersive experiences in the most desirable locations. This new hotel offers our guests an unspoiled coastal getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city, striking the perfect balance between nature and modern lifestyle."
Inspired by the Adriatic coastline, interior designer Kristina Zanic presented a sophisticated yet relaxed design that captures the essence of Mediterranean living. True to the spirit of the brand, the dedication to quality craftsmanship and distinctive design is reflected in the local stone from the island of Brac, used in the striking geometric architecture of the hotel. Harmoniously integrated with the surrounding Mediterranean vegetation, the hotel exudes an air of modern elegance imbued with natural charm. The color palette of the public spaces and guest rooms includes shades of white, gray, sand, navy and cognac, reflecting the natural beauty and serenity of the coast. Local fabrics and artwork are also used in the interior design, including artwork by local artist Solis in the lobby and locally sourced wool for the menu at Moise restaurant, reinforcing the connection to the island's culture and heritage.
Each room, including the four suites, features private balconies with panoramic sea views, wooden benches made by local craftsmen, and technological amenities such as smart TVs, automated lighting and temperature control, and mobile key check-in via the Marriott Bonvoy app. For the health-conscious, five Infinity rooms also offer exclusive direct access to one of two outdoor heated pools.
Dining experiences at the hotel pay tribute to the vibrant culinary heritage of the Adriatic. Upon arrival, guests are greeted with a refreshing drink made from local sage, and at the bar, expert mixologists handcraft signature rakija cocktails made with local Croatian and Cres ingredients such as aromatic herbs, wood, honey and flower infusions. Known for his commitment to using local ingredients and innovative culinary creations, Chef Alexandre Kerekes brings his experience from the Michelin-starred restaurants Martín Berasategui in Lasarte Oriya and El Celler de Can Roca in Girona to create an authentic dining experience for guests that highlights the flavors of the region. Inspired by the philosophy of nature, Moise honors local traditions with a sustainable approach, recognizing the importance of local ingredients, culinary heritage and the nature of Cres. The sophisticated restaurant showcases the bounty of the island, from land to sea, including fresh seafood paired with local Croatian wines, which can be enjoyed while watching the sunset from the terrace.

Guests can relax in island living in one of the hotel's two outdoor pools or find tranquility in the extensive wellness area with a luxurious spa and state-of-the-art gymnasiums at NOHrD Fitness. Harnessing the healing power of nature, the spa incorporates local ingredients with therapeutic properties, such as honey and endemic plant species, into the wellness experience for guests. Revitalizing treatments range from wild honey and sea salt scrubs to nourishing olive oil body treatments, as well as transformative experiences that engage all the senses through music and aroma. Spa treatments are finished with local herbal tea and a selection of healthy nuts to leave guests feeling fully revitalized.
No two Autograph Collection hotels are alike, each offering a unique signature experience created with passion and expert craftsmanship, leaving an indelible mark on guests' memories. At The Isolano, guests can take part in an island-inspired mixology workshop in the lobby bar and create their own Isolano botanical mix. Guests undergo a tasting to discover aromatic herbs and local ingredients unique to the island. Whether alcoholic or non-alcoholic, each blend is a celebration of the flavors of the region. After learning the secrets of creating the perfect Isolano blend, guests will receive a carefully curated gift box with a selection of the island's signature botanical ingredients to commemorate their time on the island.
