    Lufthansa travels through 100 years of brand history with campaign

    The 100th anniversary of Lufthansa's founding is also an extraordinary brand story. With a new campaign that launches today, Thursday, Lufthansa is taking you on a visual journey through a century of aviation. The campaign transforms the brand's 100-year history into a modern visual world and brings this special past to life on a large scale. The historical motifs were further developed by Serviceplan.

    Since the first flight of Lufthansa's first airplane on April 6, 1926, the name has symbolized pioneering spirit, innovation and bringing people together around the world. To celebrate this special anniversary, the new campaign brings this history to life - not as a classic retrospective, but as an emotionally staged journey through the decades.

    Historical illustrations, styles typical of the time and iconic aircraft models are combined with modern motifs and real-life images of Lufthansa today. The result is a panorama of past, present and future that brings the brand to life across generations.

    The campaign aims to capture the spirit of each era while emphasizing the commonalities in the brand's history: «The 100th anniversary of Lufthansa's founding embodies the story that people - both employees and passengers - have carried with them, who have trusted the brand for generations,» says Michelle Minhardt, Head of Brand Marketing and Customer Relations at Lufthansa.

    The campaign will be presented in an attractive and large-scale format until April 6, including at Frankfurt, Munich and Berlin airports. Further publications of the campaign are planned for the anniversary year.
